Then ... at some moment throughout my life and artistic career, awakened me an intense desire, the feeling and need to express my ideas, experiences, achievements and frustrations through music. I stopped thinking about the best chords and melodies that could I make   the "  Hit Parade " or how it could me become rich and powerful with that. I spent no more worry on composing with business objectives, success or fame. My songs today (October 2006) amounts to almost 400 songs over 25 years of career, were slowly becoming the soundtrack of   everything  I thought,  I lived, I witnessed and felt. My fears and uncertainties ... my desires. Above all, a great desire to discover something greater than my simple human existence on earth, or to be living here just waiting for time to live through. This detachment eventually lead me to reflect about the humanity, the stories of wars, the behaviors, the vanity, the greed and how we ended up making the same mistakes consecutively, creating a vicious cycle where, I believe, no ideology will be able to change the not be the own evolution of human consciousness.   So, through my music I try to tell a history ... a fiction. The life of a "Being" before a heavenly being "NEox",  who came to help us.  A warrior from the sky with many battles and many victories. So many, that  he just let yourself go to the excessive pride and believing he could win all the evil alone, he  going too far away from the light became a prisoner in a world of darkness. So,  that arrogant angel questioning the God existence, saw his wings fall from the body. He lost the wings and the right of fly. He became more a slave to this world of shadows. He suffered and felt the weight of his  inconsequential actions, but thanks to a intervention of the  beings from other galaxies, has been free, taking the opportunity to start again. Since then, still with a vague memory of what once was, went to live as a mere mortal, seeking the ways and answers in a constant quest to rediscover himself and others that were with him. And so he goes ...   I imagine myself as this man, I imagine myself  as that  "Being," with all the mistakes and choices that led me and led him to the mazes of life. Not as a hero, but as someone seeking to improve as a limited human being  I am. Trying to recover the wings to be able to go back one day. Welcome to the world of NEox! Let's make our stay on this planet our Heaven, regardless of whether or not there is a " Paradise " waiting for us, so we will be tracing the way to reach it. Peace and Light to All!
